I ran into this as well. You probably downloaded the binary distribution of xerces. You need to download the source version of the xerces project -- xerces-c-src1_6_0.zip at http://xml.apache.org/dist/xerces-c/stable/

build the xerces project and set your VXIXERCESDIR to that directory.

Hi all,

I am a new comer here,and prepare to set up OpenVXI.Hope talented people can solve it for me.

I follow Buliding and Installing the OpenVXI guide(Of course I downloading and Buliding Third Party Components first,abd the three component are compiled already.),however,when I follow "Building OpenVXI on Win 32" instruction ,it failed in 5.Building testVXI.exe

error messages as following,

i:\openvxi_2.0.1\src\vxi\documentconverter.hpp(15) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'sax/DocumentHandler.hpp': No such file or directory

i:\openvxi_2.0.1\src\vxi\documentparser.cpp(22) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'util/PlatformUtils.hpp': No such file or directory

I can find the two files under their directory there ,but the VC compiler cannot open them.After reading all related readme and testing,I cannot ask your help.Thanks.

My development environment

OS platform is Windows 2000 AS

MSVC 6.0

Add the path as http://fife.speech.cs.cmu.edu/openvxi/OpenVXI_2.0.1/doc/BuildInst.html,but all files are OK expect the two files failed.
